great question.  I'm a CPA.  I work for a natural gas pipeline company (large, publicly traded).  I'm in financial reporting, so I handle SEC filings, regulatory filings, management reports, etc.  I got my MBA last year - finally (another 'older' student - I'm 46).

I'm a little late too.... I'm Accounts Payable for a real estate company. After the wedding I plan to go back to school to finish up my degree, not sure what I want to study yet though.

Im also a little late. Up until my wedding in June I was working as a retail manager at a major children's clothing store. I quit my job right before the wedding and as soon as we got home from our honeymoon I took a CNA class and am still waiting to become certified, Sept. 14th! As soon as I get my certification I will start working as a CNA and I am also taking classes at Red Rocks right now to fulfill nursing Pre-Req's to hopefully get into an accelerated BSN program next fall! I have a bachelor's in Sociology from CU but the careers that fall into my degree are not what I really want to do.

I was a Latin teacher in Colorado Springs last year after completing an MA in Teaching at CC.  Unfortunately like PP I got laid off due to budget cuts.  Now I sub for several districts in the Springs.

I love this thready :)I am currently in school for Interior Design (I agree... NOT decorating LOL)  I want to either design commercial kitchens and restaurants or go into Historic Preservation (depends on a masters degree, though).  My first degree was in hospitality management, so using both degrees together would be ideal.Current job... no one is hiring in the interior design field right now, plus I needed something to work with school hours.  I work at Curves gym :)  Still looking for another job right now.

I'm late and fairly new, but great to read about everyone!!!I'm a geological engineer (like a civil engineer and a geologist crossed), and I work at a large, global consulting firm.  I mainly work in and around the mining industry, but also have many projects in the water works/dams field.  I really enjoy it, but I'm not sure if it's what I want to be doing 5 years from now...so kicking around the idea of law school.  Or finding a new way to spin my skills outside of the consulting world.
