Hearing a bunch of non greeks~ anyone getting married where both sides are greek?!

ME! ME! ME! (EGW! EGW! EGW!) But we already got married! And actually I am half Italian (father is Italian) but was raised more Greek...am Greek Orthodox, speak it..keep traditions...lived in Greece...spend summers there....the whole nine yards ;-)

I'm 100% Greek, my FI is a non-Greek but his father was adopted by a Greek so at least when my last name changes it is still clearly Greek so I can retain some identity to my Greek heritage!

Yasou! I am Lebanese/Syrian (joining the Greek church from Syrian Orthodox) and my fiance is Greek-American, first generation. His parents have taught me a little bit of the language, and because of my "arabic-ness", I love all things Greek. Our cultures are very similar - the dancing and some of the food is just about the same. We only battle over which ancient nation was better, haha. We can act so old school sometimes. Happy to see some postings on this board! Opa!
