Considering she totally overcharged me, I didn't! I would have given her about 10% though

I truthfully wouldnt have even thought to tip the seamstress.  I think its unnecessary.

I definitey want to bc she even recreated my veil on short notice since I really wasn't happy with the one I had made overseas.I was thinking 15-20% but wanted to see what is "normal" haha:)

I sent my seamstress a card and gift card when I left SF because she did a TON of work on my dress for 3 days straight so it could be as far along as possible before I moved. I think she was a little offended? She just said that I'm paying her and shouldn't have felt like I had to do that. So I'm thinking it's not common. I would just do a card and send a picture of you wearing it so she can hang it up (she probably has a bride wall?)

I wouldn't think that she would get offended but who knows! I would think a GC is nice. I think I will just give 20% of my bill. Thanks!

It didn't even occur to me to tip. I'm sure she will appreciate whatever you give her.
