Help with Venues

Does anyone know of a great reception hall for around 120 a person? I*m struggling finding places. Thank you!

What location of the state do you need, and how many people do you need to accommodate?

Our reception was at The Tides Estate in North Haledon and we liked it very much.

The Manor in West Orange comes in actually under $120 a person, but only holds max 205 people- it was too small for us!

What day/time of the week and time of the year are you looking for?  How many people?  You'll get great advice on this board but it will help us help you if we have some more details.

My venue is Ravello's in East Hanover and it is $110 per person all inclusive (100 person minimum) for a Friday night in November.

Highlawn Pavilion or Brettonwoods Mansion. The others we looked at were higher or in that range and we were not impressed (Mayfair Farms).

Il tulipano which is our venue I think is around $120pp but you have to have a minimum of around 175 for a weekend but I think they will work with you. Also Il Villaggio in Carlstadt. It all really depends on the day, time, season and whether you want $120pp including tax and all that other fun stuff.

I know someone who got married @ the Tides for under $100 on a Sunday night.  The Brownstone can also be snagged for under $110 I think.

I got married at the Tides on a Friday night in August in 2009 and paid about that pp with tax and tip included.   It really depends on what time of year you are looking for, and how many people you are expecting to give you more options.
