What is included in your photog package

I have a friend that does awesome photog work and I want to hire her to be our photog for the cruise.  My problem is, I don't know what to ask for in our photography package price.  I've told her that I will need her for about 8 hours on the day of the wedding. My friends have said that there are options of including prints of all your pics, having rights to the pictures, pictures on cd, unlimited amount of pics taken the day of, retouching photos, etc. What is included in your photog. package?  I'd like to get an idea of what package options are out there. Thanks for the help 8o)Natalie

Re: What is included in your photog package

  • We're actually getting one heck of a deal with our photographer!!  We're getting copyrights to all edited photos, a CD of all photos, and she is shooting all events and then some during the entire cruise, including the pre-wedding parties, welcome reception, bachelorette/bachelor party, the informal rehearsal, the captain's formal dinner, getting ready shots, the ceremony, the day after shots, etc.  And, all we paid was the cost of her to cruise with us.  She is running this DW Special for all DW Brides who book in 2009.  It's a very awesome deal for anyone!!! We just had our engagement session with her and she did an amazing job!!!!If you want her information, you ca email me and I'd be more than happy to give you her info!!!
  • I have not chosen a package, yet but the photographer that I am looking at does custom packages.  I am looking to get all images edited, an album, rights to all images, and maybe some prints.
  • why does it matter who has the rights? so they can't post it on their website or something?

  • Having rights to your pics means they're yours to do what you wish.  Otherwise you have to get authorization from the photog. At work we sell rights to clients for pictures of projects we've worked on together.  By paying us for the rights to a picture they can post it on their website and print it out on booklets, etc.
