Changing your name

I need help. Do I change my name on my passport before the wedding? When I book my honeymoon do I register myself with my maiden name or with what will be my married name? HELP

    no.  You need to book your HM and travel info in your maiden name.  Change your name when you get back.And you should change your user name here to something that isn't an e-mail address.  You'll probably get spammed up the wazoo

    Do everything in your maiden name. You can't change your passport before you get married, your name won't be changed yet.

    Well since you just put your maiden name out there for all the internet crazies to see changing your name now might not be such a bad idea. But seriously, think about this for longer than 2 seconds. Why would you change the name on your passport before you're married?

    you cannot change your name on your passport until you are legally married and have a marriage certificate. If you are going on your HM right away, you aren't going to have changed your name yet so do everything under your maiden name.

    Steph, I think I have the flu (well, mh does, and I got HIM sick...so its a safe assumption, being that he actually went to the doc and I haven't)....so yeah. Its affecting my moods to the point of niceness.

    true. But I've always been bitchy_got nothing to do with being a hag ;P. I am actually a bit worried now that I know MH has the flu, since I've been sick for a week and he just now caught it and we leave for our HM on Saturday.
