F/U Name CHange Frustration

I made it into the Social Security Office today! (Thanks to all those who confirmed for me that it wasn't inside Applebee's.) Changing my name there took so little time that I also made it to the bank and called my auto insurance, my retirement fund, the PA dept. of ed. and grad school about what I need to do for them.  Moral of the story: If you have the flexibility to take a day off work so that you can do things on certain important agencies watch, changing your name is very easy :) Yay for being a married lady.

That stinks.  After lunch one day, I went to the Norristown/E. Norriton office on 202 and got everything done in less than 15 minutes.  I've yet to tackle the DMV though, so wish me luck.

Yeah...my major issue is that teaching (at least where I do) makes it tough to run errands during the day.  In theory I could leave, but there's always just so much to do and never enough time to do it in...I've needed to rely on finding ways to leave early enough to get everywhere before 4.

fff - the ss office in Norristown was a PITA when I went, yet the DMV was a breeze.  Good luck on the lines.

Oh crap I didn't even think of the dept of ed. I will put that on my list. Thanks!
