I was looking at your planning bio - (it's great by the way) did you or your FI go to Washington State University? I saw you wearing the sweatshirt in one of your pics! I went there too! I actually wanted to ask you a question also. Are you doing OOT bags for your guests in Key West? I was thinking about doing them, but I'm not sure what to do! I found a great deal on fabric/canvas bags (cheaptotes dot com) ...so it made me want to figure out some things that were very "FL Keys-esque" to put in them. TIA!!

    Holy smokes! Yes, I did go to WSU. But I went to their nursing program which is in Spokane. I did go to Pullman a few times for football games, but I don't remember much of it because really the games were just an excuse to drink :) I do remember a tiny bar with writing all over the walls that had an awesome price on pitchers of beer :). I was there from 2004-2006 (did my pre-reqs at EWU), when were you there?I went back and forth on OOT bags for the wedding, but a few weeks ago I decided to go ahead an do them. I bought colorful hibiscus bags from Oriental Trading company, and so far I have beach balls, individual packs of advil, and shout wipes to put in them. I'm also going to put a pen & a couple postcards (will buy when I get there), a card game, a wedding timeline, a photoshare cared, a Key Lime cookie, and snacks in them. I'd like to buy some packs of dramamine (for the reception), sunscreen, and some small first aid kits as well....but we'll see how that goes. I don't want to spend a million dollars on them. The last time I was in FL the stores there all sold these awesome candies that are coconut, lime, and chocolate...they are made in FL and are YUMMY! I'm going to buy some of those when I get down there and stick them in the bags. FOr the kids I'm going to do beach pails instead of bags. Other than that, I'm not really sure what else would be Keys-esque. Margarita mix? :)

    I was at WSU from 2000-2004. The bar you remember is appropriately named 'The Coug'. Fond memories from there! :) Thanks for your help with the bags! I was wracking my brain trying to do everything in it with a 'Keys' theme but of course it doesn't have to be! You made me realize a beach theme is just fine! Which will them make it much easier on the wallet too.
