Wedding websites

I really want to use the knot website, because I think it's fairly organized. I have a free subscription to myweddingday.com as well, but don't like the layout and lack of options. Here's the problem. We are getting married out of state and so a website is essential in providing updated information and gift registries to everyone. I want to put our website address onto our physical save the dates, but theknot's website address is ridiculously long. Has anyone here been using their knot webpage and how did you make it easy for your guests?

I used wedding window, it was 10 dollars a month, but worth it. I really liked the set up!

I think I saw this on an invite my sister got....they said to go to "www.theknot.com" and search by the bride or groom's name. The search fields are right there on the first page and it says "Find a couple's wedding web page". I recieved an invite with the whole long address on it and I thought it looked tacky, but at least there were no questions.I used mywedding.com and was happy with it. One word of advice....I named mine KiraandRogerswedding, but since it is already mywedding.com...the "wedding" is really unneccessary. I didn't want to start over though, so I left it.

Go to tinyurl.com. I think there's an option to make a custom tinyurl, so you can make the knot website into tinyurl.com/HendersonLwedding or something like that. When your guests type that tinyurl they'll be redirected to your knot page. I've never tried this but I saw the option was available.
