Where do parents go the day of?

There seems to be some confusion with where parents go the day of the wedding when everyone is getting ready.  Is it Bride's parents stay with her while she gets ready, and groom's parents with him?  Is it Mothers with the bride and fathers with the groom?  If there isn't a rule, what did you do?

    I don't know if there's a rule, and even if there is, just do what you feel is right.  We both got ready at our parents houses.  The photog came to my parents house and did some pre ceremony family pics then went to the church and got some family pics of DH before the ceremony.

    His mom met the guys at the hotel and followed them to the ceremony.  My dad just met us all at the ceremony site and we didn't actually see him until we lined up to walk down the aisle.My mom met us (the girls) at my house when we were getting ready, and stayed with us until it was ready to get started.

    Here's what we did:The girls all got ready at my parent's house - my mom was there for hair/makeup.  My dad was in charge of snacks.  :)  Limo #1 (small) took BMs to church and then came back to take my parents, MOH and me.The guys all got ready at the HIE in the SS, Limo #2 picked them up there.  MIL and FIL got ready at another hotel, Limo #1 picked them up before getting to my parents house, they saw DH for the first time at the church.  My bro met the guys at the church since he didn't want to get ready with them.  MIL did get her makeup done at my parents house in the am, but didn't stick around.  :)HTH!

    Yea, do whatever is most convenient for you. My parents got ready at home while I was at the salon for hair and make-up, then we drove to the church where we met the BMs and I got dressed there. DH got ready at the hotel with his parents and met the GMs at the reception hall to wait to the limo to take them to the church. Just my story- HTH! :-)

    Whatever works best for you guys. My parents got ready at their house (where all of the girls were). My ILs got ready at their hotel (where all of the guys were).
