My maternal grandmother was 17. She had JUST turned 17 and lied on her marriage license to say she was 18. She was a war bride. My grandfather was 24 or 25. They knew each other for ONE MONTH before they got married.They were married for fifty-eight years, before my grandmother died of brain cancer in 2003.My other grandparents eloped when my grandma was 18 and my grandfather was 25. They have been married now for 54 years and still going strong.My parents were 22 and 23. Married 29 years this October.FI will be 25 and I will be 27 next November when we tie the knot.

Grandparents: Early to mid 20s. Maternal married till Gram passed, probably about 50 years. Paternal were technically married till he died, but lived apart for about 25 yrs. Married probably 60. Parents: Mom was 18 & Dad 21. Married for 34 years now.

I honestly don't know about my granparents.My parents got married when they were both 21 and were married for almost 44 years when Mom passed away.

My paternal grandparents were 26 and 28, they were married for 67 years, ending because of death. My materal grandparents married at ages 17 and 19 (due to an unexpected pregnancy). They are still married approximately 60 years later but they have always had an unhappy marriage. They refuse to divorce for religious reasons.My parents married each other at ages 30 and 34. They both had been in previous marriages that led to divorce. My dad was 23 for his first marriage, my mom was 22. My parents are still together 31 years later.My husband and I married at ages 25 (him) and 21 (me). We have been married for 2 years so far.

My maternal grandparents eloped when she was 17 and he was 23 or 24. Grandma's family was irate because they had been planning a huge country club wedding for later in the year (after she graduated from high school!) and she snuck off and got married because she didn't want to wait. Then she was pissed because her father wouldn't let her move out of the house and in with her husband until she finished school AND he wouldn't let her go to prom because married women don't go to prom

They were together until he passed away when I was 5... it had to have been at least 40 years at that point. My paternal grandparents were married when she was 18 and he was 23. They got married in a chapel near the base he was to report to because he'd been drafted. They're still married... he's 80 and she's 75. My parents were 21 and 22 when they got married. They were married for about 10 years. My dad is a pud though, and I don't know why my mom put up with his philandering as long as she did. She's been married to her 2nd husband for 18 or 19 years now, and my dad has been married to his homewrecker for 23 years.

My Dad's parents were married when she was 18 and he was 44. (yes, I think it's creepy too - and she used to call him 'Daddy') And he had divorced her sister to marry her. Very scandalous to divorce in 1918. Had two sons with sister and four sons with my Grandma. They were married 41 years until his death at the age of 85. My parents were married at 24 and 25. They were married 18 years until her death at age 42. He never dated or remarried.
