  I've stayed at Port Orleans and had a GREAT time! Have you contacted Disney to see if they offer discounts for extended stays or if your wedding package will provide any sort of reduction in cost? I know it stinks to ask, but I just got word yesterday that my ceremony fee was cut in half just because I asked!

  I've stayed at Port Orleans twice and loved it both times. It has nice rooms and the river is very lovely to ride on. You will like it there. It has buses to take you anywhere on Disney and it was a good deal for the money.

  Port Orleans is definitely better than the other two. Two other  ideas; You could also stay off property prior to the wedding and then move on property right before or DVC. I do not know if you are familiar with the vacation club resorts, but if you have a lot of family members, you could rent or reserve a 2 or 3 bedroom villa (and have lots of other amentities, like a living room, kitchen, jacuzzi) and it may wind up being less than the cost of 2-3 rooms.

  Port Orleans is actually our first choice for resorts because of budget reasons compromised with prices. If you are staying that long, I would also suggest you look into an annual park pass if you haven't thought about it yet. The annual pass pays for itself after five days plus comes with room discounts and food and merch discounts. There are also a ton of other special offers on the annual passholder website. We made two trips one year and the annual pass actually saved a ton of money!
