So this poll is about me, I know I'm an AW :) I love, love, love fall and the changing leafs and the crisp air. So I am a very lucky daughter and have a mom who takes some of the most amazing pictures, so she offered to take our E-Pics. Since Joe and I don't have any professional photos I want to get them done this fall. I was originally thinking of going to a park/hiking trail (Tryon Creek) because the have the changing leafs and all the aspects of fall that I love. But then I was thinking maybe I want it on the beach/our surf spot-thanks Robyn your my inspiration! The beach spot is so cool, it's a half mile "hike" in with a really cute bridge over a fresh water stream and it has trees and always reminds me of fall. The trees are pine, so no changing colors. We got engaged on the beach-see siggy pic-and we are getting married on the beach. So, should we have our e-pics on the beach?!?!? I haven't talked to my mom about it because I just kind of thought of it this week. My one main concern is weather. Tryon Creek is about 20 minutes away in town so we know the weather and can plan more accordingly. The coast is always iffy for weather. I need opinions!! Sorry this got long. I'm a long-winded talker in person too ;)

    It sounds like your beach spot has the fall aspect too, which is great! Honestly, I thought the same about ours - all our wedding pics will be beachy, do we want the same for our E-pics? So we did some pics in gastown, and some at stanley park on the beach, and our photog picked only one pic from the town ones... we didn't look relaxed at all. So, it comes down to the fact that we're beach people, and that is where we relaxed and got natural, and got the shots we wanted. Do what feels good to you, and that's where the best shots will happen :)

    Ok, so I'm an I want everything kinda girl, but can't you do both?  Pics on the beach and some somewhere with the changing leaves?  That way you can have the best of both worlds.

    Would you be able to do both? Maybe on different days? You could always ask your mom if she'd be willing. If I had to chose one I would go w/ the beach b/c I love love love it there (we just went to Cannon Beach yesterday). Sept and Oct are often the best months to go to the Oregon Coast weather wise. You'd really only be able to plan it a week in advance though. Even if it was foggy it would make for some very cool pics.

    I'm doing mine in the N.C mountains this fall. I love, love, love the beach, but my fi is from the mountains and he really wants pics on the Blueridge Parkway. I figured since we will be living in the mountains that those pics would look best in our log cabin style home. I'm torn....Love the beach!

    Holly, I also super-duper love the fall, so I hear you! Is there a spot somewhere along the drive from where you live to the beach that has deciduous (woah, bringin' out the scrabble words!) trees?All in all I defo agree that you want to take the pictuers where you're comfortable!I also think it's totally fabulous that your mom is taking the pics, and really can't wait to see them!*m*

    I say do both! would your mom do it for you? Julie ended up doing more than one shot and I absolutely LOVE all her pics.
