  Nest Floral Studio has been great so far. She is VERY budget friendly. www.nestfloralstudio.com Elena's Cakes is recommended often. www.elenascakes.com

  I loved my florist! Tarah with www.tlc-flowers.com . My flowers were amazing and very affordable! As for cakes... I used www.swankycakes.com and they were great to work with! I would have however used Sandy Chang if I would have known her prices are more reasonable now... she is only $3 a slice and uses real butter and no shortening in her cakes and they are truely AMAZING!!!!   Thanks everyone, this is super helpful. I'm a novice with the knot, but so far is super helpful. My venue will be at the Trammel Crow Art Museum, and the Art District Banquet Facility.

  I second Nest, Floral Studio. Amanda is greatq and very talented. Cakes: I'm using Elegant Cakery in Southlake. I also liked Frosted Art.

  We've had tastings with Tabitha Ballard, Colleen's Cakes and Sweet Art Bakery.

  We've had tastings with Elena's Cakes, Panini Bakery, and Sweet Art Bakery.  Out of those, Elena's does the most beautiful design work (gum paste flowers, scroll designs), Panini had the most fluffy and delicious cakes, and Sweet Art had the lowest prices but the cake was dense and the icing was too sweet.

  I'm with pp... we are between Panini and Elena's Cakes on the BAkery (both very yummy!). I am going with AprilMayJune Designs on flowers... April McNosky is the contact.  She is exactly my taste, and I trust everything will be perfect.  She was a personal reccomendation from a friend.

  I had a package deal with The City Club which included Elena's Cakes and Dr. Delphinium. Cake was yummy. Flowers were gorgeous.
