Did anyone else watch the VMA's? If you didn't see it, I'll get you up to speed. Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and some others were nominated for Best Female Video. Taylor won and went onstage to accept the award. Kanye West runs on stage and takes the mic from Taylor's hand to announce that Beyonce should have won. I can't believe what a jerk he is.     I was wondering what everyone was talking about! Wow... soo not cool... what an a$$.... I'd be embarrassed with I was Beyonce...her response did really seem like she was surprised ya know... more like laughing to me... geez....poor girl..

    I agree with you Sarah...Kanye has zero class, he is such an idiot. Poor Taylor. It was so nice to see Beyonce bring her back out on stage so she could finish her speech! :)

    Sarah...love your badge best one I have seen...I have absolutely loathed Kanye ever since he blurted out on live tv that Bush hates black people...who does stuff like that? And then how he always pouts after an award show if he didn't win...get over yourself...he is a racist and a cry baby! He isn't even that good! The best part of his songs are the hooks!

    I saw about 100 posts on fb last night about this and had no idea what happened. He's a complete jerk, but I'm gonna high-five Beyonce for having class and trying to fix something she didn't even do. To BOTH Sarah's - I LOVE your new Bride icons! :)

    It also pisses me off that I've had "Gold Digger" stuck in my head since it was on Glee the other night.  I don't like that such a douche has air-time in my head.

    I can not believe how ridiculous he is. Not only was it bad for him to do that to Taylor but to Beyonce as well. I am not going to lie and say that he is not talented...his fist two cds are proof of that...but his last album is garbage. Just like his attitude. Glad to see Taylor had a good performance afterwards though.

    I had to come out of lurk mode for this one! Kayne is a serious attention W*&@* and is in need of therapy! I think he should be banned from all award shows. cjbwifey2010 you are right when you say he make our black people look bad. It's amazing that he has all this money and fame but no class. Poor Taylor she was totally shocked! I just wished he had done this to Pink or Lady Gaga! One of those ladies would have set him straight!!!

    That's just the thing, miss2mrscj - he wouldn't have done it to them because they WOULD have shoved their stilettos up his arse and he knows it. Seems to me he was sloshed but still had just enough wits about him to pick on the the one he knew wouldn't fight back on camera. Makes him an even slimier douche.

Beyonce handled it with so much class that I don't think anybody thinks Kanye's actions are typical of "black people." Beyonce's actions stole the show back from Kanye. He's just a rude nutcase, no matter what color he is!

    Sarah you are right at the fact Beyonce's act made up for it, but it surely was annoying to see that Kanye just doesn't get that regardless of what he does, he is representing people of color. Beyonce's act truly represented the act of a black woman trying to pick up for the dumb things her counterpart put out! LOL. It was heartfelt though, and i sincerely commend her for it!If this was done to Pink or Lady Gaga, there would've been a nasty fight backstage! I DESPISE ppl who prey on the weak and innocent!

    Sarah and Alexia...I am repub as well but the P&E girls are kind of intimidating...I love going on there and seeing the funny stuff they post and sometimes I post too...but they are such a tight group I feel kind of like I am butting in..but they are hilarious!!

    they will rip you apart, but don't worry. they call me names on a regular basis in those discussions. i don't remember how bad it was in that thread, but i'm sure i got called names at some point lol.

    Well you can't help how you feel and it was my opinion..and some things that just had to be said. Hopefully it has been so long ago people won't think to go to that post...lol! If I get bullied out of there I will just stay here and my May 2010 boards where I am safe = )
