Hangover Monday...

How was everyone's weekend?I got a great suprise from my Dad on friday, he surprised me in The Woodlands, he was here for a retreat for the hospital board he is on, and he called me Friday at 5:00 to tell me he was at the Mariott and I was like "wtf?" so I met him for a drink, then he surprised me again by inviting me to dinner with him and the board members at Flemings, it was SO good, I think their steak trumped Vic and Anthony's...and it was freeSat we had another yummy dinner at Hugo's, it was good, but overpriced IMOSunday was an all day drink fest at the Texans game, I slept for 12 hours last night and am still feeling the effects, but it was a great time - 100+ people, BBQ, a band and beer is a great way to tailgate

    E- Sounds like you had a great weekend!We didn't do much, DH had Lasik on Friday, our good friends had a 1st birthday party for DS on Saturday.  We went to DH's parents for dinner last night.

    E - your weekend sounds awesome!  I LOVE Fleming's.  The best ever, imo!My Mom and Step-Dad were in town and we just hung out, cooked burgers and watched football all weekend.  It was fun!

    probably one of the best in a long time! We had a really good time, too bad I missed DH's softball games on Fri though - he got Wendys and I had steak awwwShelly - where did DH get lasik done at? I had mine done almost 4 years ago love it

    it is crazy how instant the results are, I was at 20/30 the next day and when I went back 3 months later I was at 20/15

    E-what a great surprise! We went to Dallas and hung out with DH's grandma and the rest of the family on his dads side. We went to my old stomping grounds and saw a couple of my high school friends. And we got to stop at Collin st bakery on the way back! The rain was ridiculous though. I miss Dallas way more than I thought.

    glad you had fun at your first tailgate.  and i agree, Flemings is absolutely divine!my bridal shower on saturday was incredible.  i'm waiting to AW because i havent gotten the pics from my friend yet. i have a recommedation for you ladies hosting future showers.  it was the highlight at mine on saturday.yesterday i tried to watch the texans, started on the thank you cards, and went to bed bath and beyond to use a gift certifcate.

    E- Flemings yummy. Sooo good. I think I will find a reason to go their and uni this week. -I wish I had lasik! How much is Lasik right now? I hate contacts!Weekend was great!!-Brad Paisely & Dierks Bentley were AWESOME! At the concert someone purposed it was so sweet. -Saturday's "white trash" party was tons of fun! DH went all out in dressing up (mullet, bubba teeth, tattooes etc.) Funny to see everyone's interpretation of "white trash"-Sunday: just chilled out

    E- yes, I do have pics. I need to post them up on FB. I went pretty conservative compared to others, but I got the message across that I was "WT" loluh why did you have to mention Tommy Bahamas? That place is good too!! Now I want Uni, Tommy, & Flemings. So many good places! Flemings is probably the best though. Getting me hungry!

    We bought $25 worth of cookies because we were going to share.. "share" I think we are on a two cookie per meal diet until they're gone. Soooo good. The rain was so weird. It just would not stop at all and when it finally did we left and we followed it home the whole way.

    haha nice can't wait to see them!TB is so good, their stuffed sanibal chicken is my fav! They used to have a shrimp BLT that was awesome, but its not on the menu anymore...oooand their pineapple mojito is SO yummy

    Sounds great E! Friday they were giving away his 4 tickets for the astros game... and I got them, and took DS to his first game! =) We sat in the dugout 3 rows up... it was awesome! FI stuck it out all the way through the 7th inning- it was a great game. Saturday just visted the in-laws, did some minor shopping, got a new Dooney purse =) *finally*Sunday-church, visted my 'rents, and went to go see my bro's soccer game.

    Friday night I got stuck at work late, but my cousin offered us free tickets to the Tyler Perry movie so we went to go see that. Saturday, FI and I decided to go to brunch at Ferragos. We had bottomless mimosas and I was drunk before noon! The foood was realllllly good too! from what I remember..haha. Saturday night we babysat my two neices so that my brother in law could take my sister out for her 40th birthday. We took them to Star Pizza and just watched movies. FI ended up going to the Emergency Room late saturday night, because he was having heart palpitations (sp?). So we only got about 3 hours sleep that night, but they ruled out anything major. He is going to cardiologist today so hopefully everything is ok. Yesterday we just watched football and layed around all day.

    E- Flemmings is the best! So yummy! Friday date night with hubs.Sat. Asrtos gameSunday went to friends house for football games, bbq and wine.

    oh and by the way, thank you all for making me hungry!! haha. I STILL havent gotten a fried oreo!!! But, we did get chocolate covered strawberries from the chocolate bar this weekend. YUMMY! :)

    Thanks E, I hope so too. It scared the crap out of me, because he NEVER complains about anything and is never sick. But at least they ruled out the major stuff. Personally I think its stress. We are both stressed to the max with work, buying this house and the wedding stuff.

    It was yesterday out at Prarie View. My first bike ride was a little rainy and muddy but I had so much fun! FI is usually the one biking but he was a spectator this time, total opposite day!

    We ate Flemmings right before we got engaged.I am so sick right now its not even funny? What are symptoms of the flu? Last week another east texas college shut down bc of the flu, I am gonna be so pissed if I have it.
