Ceremony Poll!

Look at me go with all my posting today! Haha-I'm bored at work right now, can you tell?Just trying to figure out when to have my ceremony, since we are just doing a symbolic ceremony we can choose anytime of day we want but I'm not really sure when would be best!  What time of day are you/did you have your ceremony?

Re: Ceremony Poll!

  • I'd defo go for an hour/half-hour before sunset. That's just my feeling for when the light will be amazing and when you're less likely to be sweating b*lls!hth*m*

  • I agree, I would do it right before sunset. I've seen pictures of past weddings and the sky looks beautiful at that time.

  • We're having our ceremony in the late morning ~ right about 11 a.m. Since it's in April, I'm hoping that it won't be too cold or overcast on Catalina Island then. I think you should definitely do a sunset ceremony. Very beautiful for pictures ~ you'd be able to capture some wonderful shots for sure!!
  • We are having ours at 4:00.
  • We are having ours at 4pm.  My fi's brother did his at 3:30.  I like that time because you can still do some pics and then have dinner and there isn't a lot of rushing.  HTH

  • We got married at 4:00 PM.  It is the latest time slot that Sandals will give you for free.  It was also probably the hottest time of day.
  • We're doing a symbolic ceremony also. Our ceremony is at 4pm and will last for about 20 minutes, no more than 30 minutes. Sunset in Cancun at that time of the year is around 5:30 so I figure that gives us enough time to do the ceremony and get pictures in nice afternoon light and around Sunset, which I think will be gorgeous. Plus we are having a cocktail hour after the ceremony, I think a cocktail hour at Sunset will be amazing for our guests! :)Hopefully this will all come to fruition. I see it perfectly in my head, but who knows what the actual day will bring!
  • Thanks ladies!  That's a big help!  I think I like the idea of a later ceremony too! :)
  • We're planning on having our ceremony at noon.
  • Ours is 4:30. That way the ceremony is light, and then we can have some pics in the light and some in the sunset :)
