Rehersal Dinner Space in East Metro

Does anyone have an reccomendations on where to throw a reasonably priced rehersal dinner on the east side of the city? I am looking for either a full service resturant with banquet rooms or a space where I can have a cater bring in food. I am looking at about 45 - 50 people.

Thanks!

Ours will be at Axel's Bonfire on Grand Ave in St Paul, and I think their prices are very reasonable!

Ours was at Pinz bowling alley in Oakdale, and we had a blast.  We provided drinks, pizza, sides, and one hour of bowling for about the same price as a regular sit-down dinner.

Depends on where in the East Metro you want to go... Most of these have in-house food, but they're pretty reasonable. The rec's in Hudson are SUPER easy to get in and out of from the interstate.. Best Western Hudson House Inn -We used them for our RD and they were FANTASTIC to work with and the prices incredibly reasonable. I've been to events there a couple times a year and they've stayed consistently great through the years. Afton House Inn -Little spendier than first 'rec, but still reasonable for a group on their minimums and what it takes to get there. They've also got the option of Afton Cruise Lines for a cruise on the St. Croix depending on the time of year. Stillwater Boat & Packet -The paddleboats in Stillwater. Their sidewheel is smaller so fits a group your size and you bring your own food in from a licensed caterer. Lake Elmo Inn -DH's aunt & uncle rave about them and their food is supposedly really good from what they've told me.. The Bungalow -More relaxed than the above mentioned locations but the budget is lower too... They have a room available for groups of about 50 but it's open with the main dining hall. That said, the work engagement party we had was there and it was relaxed and nice. You really don't notice much that you're open to the rest of the eating area. Joseph's Family Restaurant - Stillwater -The budget friendly option with REALLY good food... They reserve off portions of the dining area for your group with advance notice. The pies are a must to include with dinner... Cedarhurst Manor - Cottage Grove -Never been to an event there but the grounds is beautiful...Prices are pretty average... That should get you started...
