DJ Mike Nassif & Entertainment To Go?

The DJ that my venue very highly recommends is Mike Nassif of Entertainment To Go out of Rochester, Minn. He's very experienced and seems reputable but is also pretty pricey, coming in at about $1200 for dinner and dance music (~6 hours plus travel and setup). I'm wondering if others have used/are planning to use him or have heard anything about him, and if his fee is way above average. I'm just starting to price shop on DJs.TIA!

I have not heard of him before, but I have seen a lot of DJ prices around $500 to $700 if you look. Many offer specials at fairs and things like that too. Ours charges $550 but he is an oldies DJ.

I think that is pretty high priced. I've also seen a lot of DJ's around the $400-$700 price range.

That's quite pricey, especially for being based in Rochester.  We paid $595 for unlimited reception music (cocktail hour through last dance).

I'm not sure about it being that he's from Rochester, maybe pricier, but maybe because we have a lot less options (competition) without paying travel fees has alot to do with it. But alot of the prices that I have looked at, depending on season, have been about the same. However, we didn't go with him because when we saw him in person he had too many gimmics...santa, easter bunny, you name it and alot of sweating. Bottom line, I was looking at him for my wedding, not anything he could sell!!
