I posted on your FB too (lol) that I was Reva's dresser on a show that she did for a theater company in North Jersey back in 2003.  So she's the lead of the show and was playing Mae West, so I had to get her in and out of these giant costumes.  I saw waaay more than her than I had ever imagined!  So one show, the fire alarm goes off in the theater so we had to stop the show and she pulled me outside and was like, "Julie - let's go check out the firemen!!"  She was totally amazing and even gave me a $75 gift card to Borders after it was over.  She's my "friend" on FB and people are writing all kinds of crazycake things to her about the show going off the air.  I am totally sad because everytime I'm home I watch.  She was super duper awesome!

I was more of a General Hospital fan when I was in college and had tons of free time (Team Brenda and Sonny), but it's sad GL is going off the air after so long.

Wow.. 72 years??  What made them cancel? We were always All My Children fans when I was younger.  The whole family watched!  I remember when Kelly Ripa was Haley Vaughn, and Sarah Michelle Geller was Kendall!

0602 - I will PIP a photo for you sometime!  I actually think it was summer 2002, either way, it was before digital cameras so I have to find it.  Like a creepy stalker, I actually wrote her a msg on FB when I first added her as a friend.  She never wrote back, so I'm assuming some PR person or fan does her FB page.  Or, she just doesn't want to deal with all the crazies.  Aren't they supposed to have some evening special with the cast?  Or did this already happen?

I used to watch it with my grandmother back in junior high with all of the other CBS soaps. I only watch Y&R now (thanks to SoapNet, so I can watch it at 7pm), but I've tried to follow some of the other stories from time to time. They ended up canceling the show due to lack of ratings. They had moved to more of a hand-camera type show a while back to save money, but I guess they didn't save enough to save the show.
