I confess that a teeny tiny part of me is glad it's the Bachelor Party weekend - I need to catch up on my things! I confess that I don't think my productivity at work will improve until after the wedding. I confess I'm going to drive FI's car this weekend :) I confess that I'm probably going to have Chick-Fil-A for lunch... yummy!

I confess that my patients are driving me insane! I confess that I just went to 7-11 for water and wanted to buy Bud Light Lime instead....I really almost did! I confess that I am nervous about the engagement photos this weekend. My FI so way more photogenic than me! I confess that I can't wait till I am on a ship in the middle of the ocean with my DH sipping a "Miami Vice"!!!!!!!!!

I confess sometimes I wish people confessed jucier things.I confess I look up almost everyone I know that is a home owner on the property appraiser website to see what they paid, how big, and compare it to mine.I confess I usually win and when I don't it makes me a little sad and I have to remind myself that I am only 23.I confess I don't have many friends my age because I have a hard time relating to them.I confess today I really just don't care.

I confess I really need alone time with FI!I confess I need to kick my butt into gear with this wedding stuff.I confess FI got a scholarship to pay for his last half of classes and the first thought in my mind was to use the money we saved to pay for the classes and got to NYC for the weekend!I confess just typing that really makes me wanna suggest it to him! But I know the money can pay for bills!

I confess that I am useless at work today because of going to the Canes game lastnight, and starting to tailgate at 3:30p. I confess that it makes me feel like a better/cooler girlfriend/wife that I love going to all the football games (and other sports) whereas all FI's friends wives/girlfriends complain about them going and never come along themselves. I confess that I really miss having a close girl friend nearby. I live in SFL and my 3 best friends live in Alaska, Virginia, and Orlando. The only girls I interact with now are FI's sister and his coworkers wives. I work with all guys.

I confess that I just tried to look up LoLo's house on the property appraisers site and couldn't find her in Orange, Seminole, or Lake county!  And now I'm sad.  But I think  A LOT of people are guilty of that one LoLo, especially in this market!

I do it too. I'll spare you some trouble. I paid $180k for my condo.  It's worth like $50k. All I can say is I'm pretty proud of myself.  I bought it ON MY OWN the December after I graduated from college at age 22.

I confess that sometimes I don't think these confession posts should be called "confessions".  "Random thoughts" would be more appropriate.  I'm guilty of it as well.

I confess that I totally could have gone to work today but called in anyways to take that mental health day I have been wanting :-) I confess that a couple weeks ago a friend that is getting married told me she wanted me to be in her wedding BUT her mom made her have all her cousins as her BMs... who tells someone that?!?  I was upset and annoyed at the same time cause I would have loved to be in her wedding :-\

I confess that I have NOT gone onto the property appraiser's site to look at what others paid. But, I will confess that I am extremely proud of FI and I for the house that we have. We paid 200K for it, and it is brand spanking new, we live in an awesome neighborhood and our HOA fees are only $150 a year. And, since we are house confessing today, I confess that I WANTED people at my MOH's bridal shower to see my house and how beautiful and amazing it is. And, especially my Orlando Magic room. Tee Hee. And, Lolo, sorry I don't have a "juicer" confession. I'll work on it :-) OH! I know! I confess that my MOH is getting married in Vegas in two weeks, and I'm not so sure it is a good idea. The guy seems okay, but she says they fight A LOT and that she really enjoys being away from him. They met on an online dating site, and within 6 weeks were engaged to be married. That is totally fine and all, but it really worries me that things arent going to go well and the marriage will not work. But, I just don't know how/ don't want to tell her that I think its a bad idea, because SOME days she is happy and doesn't complain about him.

that's S:( if you want to be correct.I feel pretty damn thankful that my condo is only a little less than what I bought it for but I sitll wish I could get out of it.  The monthly HOA fees are killing me and the rent I get for it is not enough to cover those bills. Alexia - I also purchased the Dec after I graduated.

I confess that i am about to go to the property appraiser website (whatever the he!! it may be) and start looking up ppl as well. I confess that i dont want to do all the planning for this wedding. I want my input to be made, but i wish FI did more than just tell me "it's whatever you want sweetheart" for about 75% of the things. I confess that i was happy that i got my way for my tasting next week. I sent over a ridiculous list... (like 3 stations, 8 butler passed hors d'oeuvres, 2 salads, 4 entrees, 8 sides) when i know in most cases i can only choose 2. The lady wrote back and highlighted the things that the chef said he was going to make...i wrote her back and told her i need for him to make more of these because i am not serving anything to ppl that i haven't tried...my reputation is on the line here! so she talked to the chef and he said he will make what i asked! YES! I confess i'm excited about eating all that food, but not really happy about it being at 10:30 am on a saturday!

while we're talking property, lets just say it really sucks living in South Florida right now... Fi bought our condo for $226K. The value last year was $170K. The value this year? $80K. fml. we want to move when I finish grad school in a year or two. we'll probably be taking a major loss.

Ok I have the best housing story! We purchased our brand new home in Feb 07' for $310,000. We thought is was a steal because the house was appraised for $378,000. Now a little over two years later our house is valued at $177,000! Our subdivision was even in the news for weeks because our idiot HOA raised our fees from $600 a year to $1,240. Not only did they do that but they made us pay $610 this past December as a "emergency fee" because they had gone over there budget. Needless to say FI have been screwed but now we are in negotiations with our lender and thanks to the "making home affordable" plan our mortgage is being dropped more than 60%! We still our fighting with our HOA, we will see what happens with that one. Lolo- I wish I had juicer confessions too but my life is not so "juicy" at the moment!
  • edited December 2011
what in the hell is your HOA doing with that money?!?!?!
  • edited December 2011
Here is a juicy confession with a little story...I confess that I was a virgin until I got married but I normally do not tell a lot of people that. I confess that now my aunt is trying to pay me to go off of birth control. A few months before the wedding, I went to the dr to get birth control and mentioned it to my mom at some point. She told the most religious aunt I have out of my seven aunts, and now I am pretty sure she is trying to bribe me to stop taking it. The worst part is that I confess I am not surprised.

Now that was juicy Charisma! I confess I have only ever "been" with fi and it is a little scary. I confess we would lose money on our house if we tried to sell it too but fortunatly we arn't planning on moving for a while.

Oh and I confess that I am changing my major YET AGIAN at 22 years old. What sucks is I have SO MANY classes that I do not need. I take about 4-5 a semester and they are spread out over three different areas. It's like as soon as I see the finish line in the distance, I change majors. So I confess I will be in school forever.

Charisma-- now THAT was juicy! And kudos to you :)!Now..what have you changed ur major to now? I changed it once and it took a year from my initial graduation date, but who cares? I'm 25 with a Masters degree now and feel accomplished at this time in my life!Ok so another confession following Charisma's trend... FI and I decided that when we got engaged we wouldn't "do it" until our wedding night. Well i think we failed once! And a few weeks ago we were in the car on the way to the movies and he had a CD in his car which he really likes, so he starts dancing and grinding in the seat, and i can't help but stare! So i tell him "sorry hun, i didnt mean to stare, but that was kinda sexy" so he turns around and says "oh yea, it's been a while hasn't it?" LOL. Then he says "well it's gonna be a while longer! You said you wanted to wait, so i'm waiting. I respect you, and i respect your decision"I confess i thought that was sweet. Made me feel like an a** for thinking about sex, but a little sense of reassurance that he was ok with it!*steps off soap box*

We have no idea what our HOA is doing with that money. When we went to request the minutes from the last HOA board meeting they mysteriously went missing. Then they sent us all a letter saying that the lawn maintenence bill went up because they switched to a different company (they aren't mowing my lawn so why I am paying for it?), oh and the fact that our gate in the entrance has had to be replaced like 100 times because of all the college kids renting the houses around us are ramming it to get in! So now it is our fault that you can't control the renters in the community!~ Nightmare!Charisma- I think that it was amazing to share that you were a virgin until marriage. It means a lot that you can confess something that personal to us. THANKS!Ok so If Charisma can share that with us I will share this with you guys. Since my FI started to come to church with my family he felt that we should wait until we get married to be "intimate" with each other. Granted we have been together for almost 6 years and it has been 7 months since we have done anything at all!! Even though we are both going crazy it does make us look at the honeymoon very differently!

I don't know if this is considered juicy or not but I'll tell it anyways. I confess that I am really tired of my step-family treating me like crap! I have never had a good relationship with my step-mom or sister. Probably because my dad married this lady 6 months after my mom left him for another woman. So since my mom left for a woman my dad gave up and married the step-mom right way!! Anyways I am tired of their crap because they have not ever helped me with anything since I graduated high school. Barely paid anything for my college education and are not paying for my wedding. On top of that I found out that my step-mom has been stealing money from my poor grandma who can't see enough to take care of her own finances. My step-mom stole her idenity and charged thousands of dollars on credit-cards. I found this out this past spring. The worst of it all is that I am co-signed with my grandma on my car loan. So if my credit gets ruined I'm gonna be so mad! Some how my dad still loves this woman and seems to think that everything should still be fine between me and her. Oh and I just sent out my wedding invitations and guess who delines the invite? My step-sister! What a jerk! Oh well one less person to worry about feeding.

I confess that Nursing didn't work out for me and I had to make a major career change. I'm going to get my BS in Health Service Administration and do the CNA work on the side.I confess that FI and I haven't "done it" for the last 10 months. We decided that if we're living with my mom for the time being, there will be no hanky panky what so ever.I confess that I want to gouge FI's oldest cousin's eyes out with a fork because she can NEVER let anyone have a moment for him/herself. Two weeks ago, FI's mom told his side of the family that we're doing the wedding next year. His cousin at the time didn't have a date set and wasn't planning anything until she & her FI purchased their home. The home thing didn't work out and she said last week that they HAVE to do the wedding in 2010 because there's no way they couldn't! B freakin S..But it's ok, I know our day will totally rock because Ryan & I planned it and we'll be with the people that are most important. I confess that I have been home all day and feel like all I've been doing is eating :PI confess that after I get married, I want to have "wedding dress" parties :]

Cjbwifey- I started in Psych, changed to Marketing, went back to Psych, and now I am changing to Political Science. (I hate when I meet with a counselour, I always feel like I have to explain myself, lol). I plan on getting my Masters in Politicial Science and then going back for a second bachelors in Psych or Maketing (whatever I do not minor in). Eventually, I want to own my own business and be a professor. To be quite honest, I love school and do not mind being there but I hate when my family asks me when I am going to be done (which is everytime I talk to them).otown- Thanks, girl! I use to hate telling people because I felt like there was a secret club I was not a part of. As soon as I would tell a friend it would mean that they would just talk about "it" and I hated that because I hate not knowing stuff, lol. Plus, my friends constantly tease me about it and it does not help that I have a lot of guy friends. But it was worth the wait and the honeymoon was awesome--to say the least. ;)

Charisma--I see! so you've been around the education block a few times! It's all good! I see what you mean about loving school. i love to get knowledge too. I dont really like this whole working thing...but i have no choice for now. I wish that once FI gets out of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy he will make lots of money and will tell me that i only have to work part time somewhere if i want, or pursue my dream of opening up a non-profit organization for homeless and less disadvantaged individuals. The program would be 9 months (bcuz thats how long it takes to birth a baby and by then you should know what you want to do) to clean them up, get rid of their fears, and get them back into society as respectable citizens. *Sigh* i wish that day would be tomorrow!
