DJ Suggestions?!

Hi Ladies -My FI and I have just started to research DJs for our wedding. I just sent out a mess of e-mails to like 10 different companies in the Westchester/Rockland area, so we're waiting to get some information back from all of them.We're getting married at Patriot Hills in Rockland County. Must Haves:- Obviously a good DJ- A Good Master of Ceremonies (who is not "over-the-top" when he talks)- Good LightingBudget is around $1,500 - $2,000 (we also need a cocktail hour setup)Any input on DJs we should definately keep our eyes open for would be great!Thanks!

Check out DTM Productions. They are based in Northern, NJ but they do not charge travel fees. Jeff Gould was my MC and he is great! Not over the top but very energetic. He will get as involved as you want. They have all different lighting packages and I believe to add cocktail hour was only $100. Patriot Hills is a great place for a wedding!

We're using The DJ Solution. They're up in Poughkeepsie but they're in you're price range.

We used Dancetime. We really liked them. It is worth going in and meeting with Jamie the owner. He didn't try to sell you on anything which was so nice compared to may we met with.It was like $1,500 with a lighting package.http://www.dancetimedj.com/
