SparkPeople Member!

Alright ladies... after much research this weekend between weight watchers and Sparkpeople.com, I have decided to give SP a go!  Much cheaper!So, this is day 1...  I'm curious- for you other SP users... is just using their meal plans and guidelines really working for you?  How quickly?

  • I don't follow the sparkpeople meal plans.  I do adhere to the allotted calories though.  I also record my activity on sp - it works for me.  I think how quickly a weight loss program is going to vary from person to person. How much are you trying to lose and in what amount of time.  You have to be reasonable.  Chances are you won't lose 20lbs in a month.  The average healthy weight loss is about 2lbs a week. Good luck.
  • I find the ranges on spark people are a little inflated. Id stay towards the low-middle of the range for all of your numbers.

  • I'm a SP member too! I love the site! It helps me to keep track of my exercise and I'm in love with the free exercise videos! I can pick what I want to do and there are so many to pick from!
