Honeymoon registry.

Has anyone done this before? I was reading the post before this about not getting gifts because of living together which I think this would be better for us since we do live together and we dont really need anything. But I had heard of the honeymoon registry, but I didnt know if people really would go along with it.

Ours has been very well received.  People love it.  But we are older and already have set up 2 households.Ours is only for excursions and "extras"--not our flight, our hotel, food, etc.  We have a detailed introduction on our website explaining why we are doing it.People have varied opinions on this and some will say it's tacky.  I say, whatever, if people don't want to contribute, they don't have to.  We weren't going to register for gifts at all, but people kept asking us to, so we decided to do this.  For our situation, I think it's perfectly acceptable, but a lot of people will say you're just asking for cash and you'll get flamed all over the place.

What stephie said.We have one along with a regular registry at BBB. We also asked for gift cards to Lowe's as we are doing a home makeover as soon as we buy it. We just provided plenty of options and if it's tacky...my family and friends will still love me.

Hey Stephie or Apple, would it be ok if I looked at your HM registry? I want to see what one looks like. You can email it to me if you want. annaperkins81 at msn dot com
