Has anyone hired a trumpeter?

I was wondering... has anyone hired a trumpeter for their ceremony? The organist at my church in Baton Rouge suggested a trumpet would be wonderful for the song I chose for my entrance... Henry Purcell's Trumpet Tune. The problem is the price. She suggested if I shop around I might be able to find somebody that charges less.

    mine is $175 and it going to be well worth it.  the trumpet is one of the most beautiful parts of the ceremony!  email if you want more information jajeffrey at gmail

    My wedding isn't for another month but I hired Pete Wolbrette. He is $175 for two hours. He is really nice - even sent a cd with his wedding music. You can contact him at (504) 891-4786. Good Luck.

    mine is 150 but my problem is that everytime i email him he doesn't answer me he has worked with my singer in the past and she reccommended him so what i might do is call her and ask for his number.  because so far i have my singer and organist.  if you'd like his info just let me know.good luck!

    oh sorry his name is Scott Kiser  he is also in the navy band i heard him play on a sample and he really sounded amazing!

    I am also using Pete Wolbrete for my wedding on October 24th. He seems really nice and he has come highly referred.
