buy your wedding dress? A local store, a national place like David's Bridal, E-bay or other online place? Just curious, since I'm trying to do this now.

I looked all over the place. My top 2 were at Davids Bridal and Alfred Angelo. But I ended up getting one at a tiny local store in Wyoming. But here's an FYI. When I was looking at buying the dress from Alfred Angelo I found out about this place in New Orleans called Pearls Place. They have a website that you can look at. Anyway they sell the actual dresses not replica's but they sell them for like 40% cheaper than you will find somewhere else. The Alfred Angelo dress I found was $900 at the store I tried in on at and they quoted me $445. I even checked with Alfred Angelo and I talked to the girls on the dress board and they had great things to say about them. They sell LOTS of brands too. HTH

A local store in San Diego. I never even went in to David's....my MOH had tried on dresses there for her wedding and I went with her...it wasn't the kind of experience that I wanted.
