Speaking of delcious holiday foods....

How do you girls control your cravings during the holidays? I have the hardest time not eating everything on the table. I looooove holiday dishes, it's the only time of the year I make and eat these kinds of foods....but I have no choice but to have some self control cause I'm trying to work some pounds off before I go dress shopping.What's your strategy? tell me the secret to success haha

  • This may not be helpful to you, but I don't control them. I have a little of everything I want and try to just eat until I'm satisfied and not until I'm stuffed. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I try not to beat myself up over it later and just stick to healthy eating during the week, weekends are a little more relaxed.
  • Become a vegetarian :) I have been one for, OMG 17 years this Christmas, and there is still good food to eat, but not as much. No turkey, no stuffing, and allot of other things. I am SO blessed and lucky to have amazing fils and they always make me mine own stuffing, meat free and a great alternative to the turkey. It usually consists of grilled fruits and grilled veggies. We also ALWAYS have a ton of veggies out and I don't really prefer veggie dips. So I stand on the side of the island with the veggie tray vs. salted nuts. Nuts are huge with fils :) Also have treats, other wise you will be sad you missed out. Maybe try and split with someone else trying to loose a few lbs. But it is the holidays, so indulge :)
