invite packaging ideas

Are there any local stores that sell nice invitation packages? I want to design my own to save money but I want to look at really nice ones so I can aim high. : P I know a designer would have the nicest examples but I don't want to waste a designer's time since I'm not planning on buying them. I've looked at tons of designs online so what I need help with the most is figuring out what order to package them in, how to stack or tie them together and stuff them into the envelope.

I'm using ones from Michael's... I have not tried printing them yet, but they seem nicely made

Yeah, I know there are different options like pocket folds and belly bands and different ways of tying everything together with ribbon or string. I just want to kinda get it straight in my mind so I can decide how to do mine. Also I want to know what order to stack everything, especially if I don't use a pocket fold. Like what goes on the bottom and what goes on top when everything gets stuffed into the envelope.

Okay, no really.I'm confused...Doh!  ::sigh::  Nm me.  I'm an idiot.  You want invitation designs, right?  I was thinking you were talking about bellybands or pocketfolders or boxes or something based on your second paragraph.Just looking at the packages isn't going to tell you what order to place everything in. When you're stacking your parts, put things in in this order (from bottom to top):InvitationYour inserts from largest to smallestYour rsvp card, tucked into the RSVP envelopeAll of this should be placed into your inner envelope, with the wording facing the flap of the inner envelope.  The inner envelope (unsealed) should then be placed into your outer envelope, addressed side toward the outer envelope flap.hth
