  I'm so glad you asked this question because I was wondering the same thing! It makes me think of the Bridget Jones movie where she debates on wearing the granny panties that make her slim or the sexy undies that don't hide the bulge

  I think I'm going to change at the hotel b/c I'm having my bra sewn into my dress and it will probably be hot enough with the heavy dress and corset bra as it is. Plus, extra layers might make you look bulkier. I guess it depends on what you are planning on wearing that night.

  Fi and I are going to change before we leave our reception because we'll be driving for about 5 or 6 hours to Chattanooga that evening. I'll probably wear something cute under my dress and have him help me out of it at the reception. Then when we get to our hotel that night I'll put on some lingerie for him.

  I'm wearing comfy granny panties (j/k probably briefs) and spanx under my dress. no bra because I'm having boobs sewn into my dress. sechsy, lemme tell ya. I'm more worried about being comfortable under my dress than sexy, since my FI won't be helping me take off my dress.however, when I change into my getaway outfit or whatever, I'll change my lingerie to something a bit sexier.

  i am going to wear the necessities under my dress - boobs sewn in, corset, and maybe a white "bride" thong if i can find a cheap one.We have a 2 hour drive after the reception, so i'll probably change into something comfy and not even worry about lingerie. I figure by the time we get home, we'll be so tired he won't even care what i'm wearing.We're leaving for our honeymoon the next morning and i've already bought some lingerie for the first few nights - i'll just go change in the bathroom before we get into bed. So i'm saving my lingerie for the honeymoon!

  I've been wondering the same thing, thank you for asking. I'm also having my "boobs" swen into my dress so I like the idea of changing into some lingerie to give a more sexy feel for when my hubby helps me take off my dress. I don't want to change out of my dress because I like the idea of him taking it off. I've been debating wearing comfortable underwear all day and then having my sister help me in the bathroom at the reception before we leave to put on sexy fresh underwear and perhaps a small lingerie top or lingerie bra and maybe just leave the straps down or find something strapless so it doesn't look weird under my dress. That way I'm fresh and sexy for the wedding night. We have about a half hour drive to our hotel that night.

  I'm trying to figure  how you all are sewing "boobs" into your dress....that has me puzzled...lol Anyhow...I got some undies from Frederick's of Hollywood that may look like "granny panty" in a way, but they pretty sexy looking too!  lots of lace and all....enough coverage for me...and my strapless bra that will hold up the girls...I'm rather chesty there.....
