Homework. I'm done. Between having 47 days until graduation and trying to find a job so we can figure out what we're doing after May (and therefore set a date), I don't want to do anything. And I'm finding it ridiculous that my professors are not understanding that. I get that I'm in one class that's like a freshman class, and one that's mostly sophomores, but I'm a senior. I don't have it in me to care anymore. And the six parties for Seniors coming up aren't helping.
Okay, I'm done venting. What don't you want to do this week?
Happy Monday!
Re: Things We'd Rather Not Do This Week
I was in a similar pair of shoes this time last year, about to graduate from grad school. Best of luck to you in these last few weeks!
Life is good today.

Still here and still fabulous!
Am I the only one left in this boat? I have the feeling I'm pretty behind.

Oh me too... I feel like such a slacker in the tax area... I haven't started mine!
Booo, real world sucks.
I about snapped in my organic class today. I've hit the wall pretty hard, and little things are starting to seriously upset me (someone started shaking their leg, which started shaking the table, our prof wanted a "reaction diagram" instead of writing linearly...). Normally, this would be a PMS cue, but that's not possible.
On the bright side, I presented Saturday for our school's conference, and it went REALLY well. I submitted the same abstract to a national conference, and I'm thinking there's a good chance it's going to get accepted (we got an email from the secretary saying they had room for more). And with the time that it took me to present, and only having half the data, it's going to run without a hitch if I get to present in July! Hooray!!!

I sent my taxes in mid February and they still aren't back yet from my accountant...grrr.
[QUOTE]The job interview I just did. Those things are stressful, man! Also, writing the page on why I want the job. I want the job because I need money and I'd rather work for a non-profit and make a difference, okay?!

*high five*
I am in the same boat. Just write what you feel! If you are willing to take the pay cut, then this is something you're obviously passionate about. If you are true to yourself, that passion will come through in the essay.
I just wrote an essay for an education development organization that I applied to. It's no masterpiece, but it may help to read someone else's. Let me know if you would like me to send it to you.
Edit: Marley, YGPM
I also haven't started my taxes... Gah I need to get on that. Like now.
Basicly I am tired of doing school and nothing fun anymore. Time to do something fun again!
