Inspired by a radio comp that happened this morning.Would you want to win an amazing, all expence paid wedding on a cruise ship with all your family and friends, but the catch is you have to get married naked? (little skin coloured thong for bride and groom, other then that, nothing). You have to be nude for the vows and first dance.Would you do it?

I believe this one was the original in Australia, as far as I know, but now there's one being done in Brisbane apparently, too. YES! I'm in brisbane. We left our windows open yesterday when we left for work. My house, no word of a lie, is full of red dust. It's so disgusting. When we came in today after work, I put my hand on the railing of our top floor stairs- which are no where near any of the windows- ran it down about 20 cms and my fingers were dark orange. It's so gross. The whole house needs a shower, and as soon as you walk in, you need one too- but apparently there's a risk of another dust storm on Saturday, so I'm holding off on crazyocdcleaning until we see how we go with that. I've cleaned the kitchen and the dining table, which were both SO disgusting, but the rest can wait. Thank god for the Dyson! If only I could use it on the curtains/walls/every surface in the house.

OMG thats terrible! Will there be any lasting damage? I'm no expert but red dust sounds like it will stain... And another one on Saturday....make sure you close the windows this time, me thinks!

Indeed we will! but the wind was so strong that even when we did close the windows when we got home, there was still air (and dust) getting in. And yeah, our carpets are white (as in, stark white)... never good! Hopefully the Dyson will prevail (I am so in love with our new vacuum cleaner, in case you can't tell!)! That said, I don't know who thought white carpets were a good idea to begin with, let alone how they've been kept white prior to us moving in. I've never been to NZ, but next year I might be flying to Hawaii for a conference, and one of the flights that is available to get over there is an air new zealand flight with a stopover at Auckland. I'd love to go sometime soon, because everyone I know who has gone has raved about how beautiful NZ is.... so we'll possibly hit your shores next year.

Tell ya what, you stay in NZ and I'll catch the flight to Hawaii instead. I think its a good deal! NZ is beautiful but you have to go out of Auckland. Auckland has its good point and a few tourist spots but to see all the good stuff you need to go North a bit more (Bay of Islands is beautiful) or to Rotorua for the culture. And the South Island is pretty breathtaking.
