  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be? I didn't try on anything above my budget. In fact, my dress was the 3rd one I tried on. So I wouldn't trade my dress.
Your dream reception site?Hmm, if I was going to go all out, maybe Hearst Castle or something and just rent out the entire place. Or have the wedding in NYC and invite and bring everyone out for free.

  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?I don't really know.  I was madly in love with my dress, and I've never seen anything else I would have wanted.
Your dream reception site?A private island somewhere.  Like I saw this resort on the travel channel that is a small island in the Pacific.  It has like 10 villas on the island, and then the central part of the resort.  If I had unlimited funds, we would have taken everyone important there and partied for a week.
What's your favorite milkshake flavor?Banana shake from Steak and Shake.  Yum.
  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?  I haven't even started looking yet, but there is no way in hell I'd spend $12,000 on a *dress*.

Your dream reception site?  Where we are getting married.  I'm soooo scared something is going to mess up it!

    and...

What's your favorite milkshake flavor? chocolate.  Everything should be chocolate.  Vanilla - especially cake - is something I truly don't understand.
  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?  I haven't tried on much yet and don't plan on trying on anything out of my budget, but if money were no object, I'd totally go to Kleinfield's and try on some of those $$$$$ dresses.  Some of Pnina Tornai's dresses are crazy, but some are really gorgeous.

Your dream reception site?  I really love where we're getting married and location was actually more of an issue than money.  But I really love Bellvue Manor, and would have considered it if it wasn't so freaking expensive - and if the toilets hadn't ALL overflowed at the one wedding I attended there.

What's your favorite milkshake flavor?  Strawberry-banana.

My style is continually changing.  When it comes time for me to start trying them on and picking them out, my taste may be different than what it is now.  As for now, I like lace.  I do know I do not want strapless.  NMS, and bf hates it.  I don't think I would go all out on a dress, I have plenty of other things I could blow thousands of dollars on

    Your dream reception site?
is no longer in business :(  I really like this place that is a barn overlooking the ocean.... Again, when it comes time, I will look and maybe they will be back in business!

    What's your favorite milkshake flavor?
I like to make homemade vanilla ice cream, milk and banana milkshakes.  Yum, I have 1 banana left, afterwork snack!

  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?  Wore my dream dress and it cost much less than I'd feared :) Your dream reception site? The British Museum.

In-n-out rocks. I totally miss it.  BF doesn't believe how AMAZING their hamburgers are.  When we step off the plane in LA to go visit CA this summer, first stop- castaic In-n-out to lose his real burger virginity

    Montana/NoDak food sucks :(

  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?  If money were no issue, I would have spent it on something other than a few yards of fabric.

Your dream reception site?  Fantasyland.  You can rent it out, it's like $150K.

What's your favorite milkshake flavor?  It's shamrock shake season!  Joy and rapture!

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be? To preface this, I love my dress and I don't think I could find anything that I felt better about than the dress I bought. That being said, I think if money were no object I would get a really awesome dress custom made. And it would be purple (because in the world where money is no object the fact that I would look like a big fat grape wouldn't matter either).

Your dream reception site? My dad's farm in southern Missouri. It is just a breathtaking place. I can't imagine all the work it would take to make it wedding ready, but it would be beautiful.

The one I got.. CasaBlanca 1971. However, if size was not an issue, it would have been a different CasaBlanca style.
    Your dream reception site?
    I don't know.. I didn't look at any I couldn't afford.

  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be?  The one I am choosing now.  I'm really not a big fan of those outlandishly expensive dresses you see on wedding shows.

Your dream reception site?  Gosh, I don't know.  The top of the John Hancock building in Boston at dusk, looking over the city as it comes to life in lights would be great.

  • If money were no issue, what would your dream dress be? The dress I bought.  It's exactly what I was looking for - A-line, strapless, train with detail, some beading on front too but not too much.

Your dream reception site? The alumni center where we went to college.  It's beautiful, and it would have been great to take pics on campus.

What's your favorite milkshake flavor?  chocolate!
  • I'll have a go--

Dream dress--what I have ordered.  A short wedding dress from Dolly Couture.

Dream Venue--again, what I have booked.  A villa in Mexico, surrounded by lots of places to stay for our friends and family, in all price ranges.  I feel really lucky to be able to do a DW, and have so many dear ones there with us!

Milkshake--I don't like milkshakes, so I've elected to change the option to a Diary Queen Blizzard--Crunchie Bar flavour.  I know, I'm a rebel!  : )
  • I really loved my dress.  I guess if money were no object, it would just be tailor fit and maybe with a sash.

The dream venue exists - with some modifications.  DH proposed at a state park that has a mansion on the grounds and it's on the water.  If it would have held all our guests, been open enough so that all could fit in one room and have air conditioning, we would have loved it!

Strawberry is the BEST milkshake flavor!
