Wedding at Ridder Country Club

Has anyone had a wedding at Ridder Country Club... if so did you set up a room block somewhere? If yes, Where did you set it up? TIA

We looked there for our wedding and I think they said the closest one is in Brockton.  I believe it's a Residence Inn.

A friend of mine got married there in June- but I don't believe she really had any out of towners, if she did, it was very few- so no room block. But I live near there, so I can tell you your best bet would be in Plymouth at Colony Place, there is a Hampton Inn which is about 30 minutes away. There is a lot to do in Plymouth, if the OOTers are staying a couple days. There are a couple hotels in Brockton, probably 20 minutes from the Ridder, but honestly, I'd rather send people to Plymouth than Brockton. Good Luck and HTH!

I completely agree with PP!  Def wouldn't want to send my OOT's to Brockton.  If you are willing to look elsewhere, the Quincy Marriott is only a 30 minute drive as well.

We don't have a lot of OOT guests but I think a lot of people will want to stay over at a hotel and continue the party so I'm looking for something somewhat local. We will be running a shuttle bus from the hotel to the venue and then back at the end of the night I was looking at the Holiday Inn Rockland. It was completely renovated last year and looks nice online. It is also only 22 minutes away according to mapquest. Anyone ever stayed there?

I forgot about Rockland- there is also a Comfort Inn almost across the street from that Holiday Inn. Never been in either one, but they are well kept from the outside. There really isn't anything to do in Rockland, but it's a better place to send your guests than Brockton. The two hotels in Rockland are right off Route 3 (if that's nay help to your OOT guests).
