  I tried on a lot of dresses and didn't think I was going to have that "this is the one" feeling but I did .  Keep going - you'll find!

  Keep looking! It took me several outings and a couple dresses that I liked but didn't love before I found the one. But I would suggest you don't drag the same person with you the whole time.

  Keep looking.  If you go through the rest, and still don't find 'the one' you can always go back. I bet you'll find 'the one' though

  I fully agree with pp - don't take the same person to each shop, and trust me you will find your perfect dress. It took me a while, and I had found several dresses that I liked ok, but was thinking "the one" theory was a crock. Until I put it on that is. Good luck and have a good time.

  I really did feel like a princess in my dress. Even under the fluorescent lights at the bridal expo, of all places. Even though I'd only been to one shop and hadn't tried on all that many dresses overall yet. It was just so stinkin' pretty. Had I not felt that way, I would not have bought it. So, keep looking. You will have lots of options. I agree that it's best to not always take along the same people, and don't take lots of ppl (2 max). Also try to take pics - it was really easy for me to eliminate some options just b/c they looked really not pretty in the pics. Enjoy your shopping, and best of luck!

  Ok I am a little different on this one. I had the WORST time finding a dress, finally I got in one that everyone loved, and I didn't hate. Thats how I picked it. I was sick and tired of dresses and feeling gross in them and was sooooo frustrated I just gave up. LUCKILY (and big luckily) when the dress came in I fell in love. Every time I tried it on I loved it more than the last time. I think that is major luck though... I agree with the PPs... keep looking for sure, but dont drive yourself crazy! AND trust the opinions of your friends and family that go with you! HTH!

  I fell in love with my dress online, tried it on and loved it, but never had that feeling like this was absolutely the one. I still second guess it every day. And if my wedding wasn't just 7 short weeks away, I'd probably go out and look again. I kinda wish I had waited a little while to go shopping because right after I bought my dress, the new season of dresses came out and there are several that appear to be more of the style I was looking for, but I know better than to go out and try any on. I also bought my dress way too early... I would wait until about 6 months before your wedding to buy...that way you have everything that is available and you won't have to second guess yourself. (I bought mine 9months in advance). But definitely look now and get a feel for the style that works best for you.

  I thought I would have the teary eyed, Say Yes to the Dress freak out reaction when I found "the" dress, but I didn't really. I first when with my mom and FMIL, and we all loved this one dress but it wasn't exactly the style I had in mind. But they didn't have the right size, so I went to a DB in another town. When I went to try on the dress at David's, I asked to try on a few more in the style I wanted (short, chiffon). Then I really liked this dress she brought out, and thought it was pretty and just bought it. Sometimes I second guess but since I bought it off the rack I just put it on at home and am glad I still got it. But keep shopping, I think you will know!
