Wedding Day of - Rain Plan

For those that have had rain plans for wedding day of pictures, what venues did you consider? Was there any cost or advance notification that you had to make with the space? Our wedding is in 7 days (squeee!!) and this past week has made me nervous. Thanks!!

Try Ault park? Its truly beautiful and there are alot of shaded areas/Covered areas. We are doing our family pictures there on the 11th! Truly beautiful and I dont think you have to give them any notification. Good Luck!

What part of town are you looking? This makes a big difference. I will tell you we selected 4-5 locations for picturs both inside and out, we only actually hit 2-3 of them due to the time it takes to get everyone there and organized. If you give us more detail on the locations, I am sure I can come up with something for you!

Not to thread-jack but I need help with this too...we're getting married at Norman Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery and getting ready in Florence...any good indoor locations for pics?  I was recommended the CAC but I was looking for more antique-y/old fashioned type places.

We used Dixie Terminal downtown, but there are so many nice buildings downtown that are more antique than the CAC. Its pretty but very plain. You can always check with Music Hall if they dont have an event during that time it is always pretty. There is also the hotel lobbies downtown. They are beautiful.

Location info would probably help, huh? Sorry about that! :) Anything in the downtown area would be wonderful. That is in between the church and reception area. Thank you for the suggestions so far! I hadn't heard of Dixie Terminal before, but I will have to look into it.

My brother's wedding day was a rainy one and we took pics at the Marriott in Covington and they turned out great! I don't think they had to book anything ahead of time but we did have to leave when a couple that had their wedding there that evening needed the space. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to check ahead of time though. Hope that helps a little!!

I've never heard of Dixie Terminal either. I googled it and it's gorgeous. But someone's flickr page said that the building is closed on weekends. I don't know how reliable the source is, but call to check before you make plans to take pics there.
