WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO???

So,My FI is a Kappa and I am a Delta. My favorite color is purple.  He doesn't have a favorite color or any suggestions, but he has definitely shown his digust with having a purple wedding. Initially the colors were supposed to be wisteria and champagne.  In my compromise, I agreed to just champagne, but in my opinion, champagne is not a wedding color all by its self.  I think that we need a REAL color.  What do you suggest???? (I don't want a red wedding)

    LMAO!! We all have been talking about this. I just decided on plum today. Have you considered plum, a couple  shades deeper than purple. You can do chocolate brown, lavender would be pretty. Tam just sent me this site, maybe it can help you. Also, I got paint chips from Lowe's to help me decide on my primary colors, that' s a great idea b/c you can see colors together w/o having to buy anything.Hope this helps.  Polyvore inspiration site

    Oh good!  I'm happy to see that I am not the only one with this problem. I will definitely check out this site! And although you and I know the difference between lavender and plumb...they are all purple to him..lol

    I love Lovie's suggestion of chocolate brown and lavendar.  If you really want to stick with champagne, I think it would be beautiful to add chocolate brown and a pale pink.  But purple is my favorite color too, so it would be nice if you could find a color palette to incorporate purple.

    how about mixing plum/lavender/ Dresses and decor such as linens call all be champagne...but have your flowers be different hues of purple and cream?????

    I am completely a PINK fan (Cotton Candy Pink is my favorite) and I think it compliments brown well.  Long story short, I like Chocolate and Pink!  Good Luck!!!
