I've been a bride for 6 months today! LOL! Can y'all believe that? I knooooowwww, I can't either! LOL! Saturday, I pulled out our wedding video and relived the day all over again. P and I will watch it again tonight with some popcorn and crown/coke to celebrate. For those of you still on the fence about the video, do it. Despite what so many people told me, I got the videographer and I have watched the video at least 6 times. Pictures are good, but they don't have a voice! If it's not in the budget (i only paid $750) get a trusty friend/family member/someone looking to start up a business, etc...and get it. IMHO, it doesn't have to be professional, just get the important parts u won't get to see or likely forget - full ceremony, toasts, cake cutting, aging family members, u know. Hmmmm...6 months - is it time to hang my knottie hat?! **raising my eyebrows and looking around**

    LMAO at y'all sitting down with some popcorn and crown/coke to watch the video.  Classic!  I am getting the video, and I think Fi is trying to work with me on it, he just doesn't want to tell me anything until he has all of his stuff taken care of.  Nooooooo, please don't go.  There shall be no hanging up of the Knottie hat.  BTW, I passed by a Rally's billboard Saturday night and thought about you.

    oh wow - 6 months already?!!!...dang girl I remember when we were just discussing your wedding plans and then BAM we were throwing you an e-shower and then BAM you came back with your pro-pics and had us all cyber crying with you when you described when P first saw you coming down the aisle AFTER the 2nd verse of your entrance song started!! (yes I have excellent memory of ish...LOL!) now about the videographer -- I think your opinion is right on point because I was reading on my local board a few wks ago about another knottie that was on the fence in getting one for her wedding, she finally decided to get one and she was soooo happy that she did; she posted a a teaser of her video and had everyone on the board crying because it was sooo touching!...the thing of it is, she said alot of it she didn't realize had happen because she was "in the moment" but to see her hubby for the first time and to see her daddy crying (when he thought no one else saw it) made her so happy that she spent that extra $$...so I agree with you on this one...if you can get someone to do it for you as a pro or just starting out, please do...

    Congratulations Cat!!!! I agree everyone should really think about getting a videographer for their wedding. This was one of the items I immediately put in the budget.. My girlfriend got married last year and she shared her video and it was great.. Her pictures were great but the video was even better because I got to see her real emotions as they did their vows..BTW, leaving is not an option.... Try something else.. LOL!!

    First off you betta keep yo a$$ on this board. We need you!!!!!!!! We love your wisdom and humor but most of all your friendship. We need as many of the originals around as much as we can. You better not go anywhereI didn't want to get a videographer but FI insisted so I begrundgingly booked one; and now reading from the married knotties, I am feeling better about the decision and some days i even look forward to it?See?     Cat! You are about to make me book a trip and come down to have a glass of crown! On the honeymoon they kept offering me them fruity azz drinks and I was like "no ma'am, do I look like a punk? I'll have a crown and coke please...and KEEP 'EM COMING!" LoLCongratulations on reaching six months of bliss!  I hope you enjoyed your reminiscing :-)
