  • Thankx for the encouragement.  I does seem like something new is always popping up.  I want to be able to enjoy this time, but can't wait for it to all pass over.  Good luck on your finals and take care of that foot.  :)

how did you get that wedding countdown on the buttom of your post?

  • I just went back to school in Sept, got engaged in Oct and getting married in Sept. If you figure out a magic formula to multitask, let me know! All I have figured out as of now is work one wedding one day, school the next and it's not working! I guess just like school work you have to trust in yourself that it will get done.
  • My fiance and I are graduating in May of 2011 and getting married the month after. Between May 2011 and June 2011:
-my younger brother is graduating high school
-my fiance and i are graduating college
-both of us have to find jobs
-we have to find a place to live (we both live on campus)
-car shopping (both of us borrow cars from our parents)
    -wedding

I think my head is going to explode, we might end up sleeping through our honeymoon.
  • OMG cutz3 I am so in the same boat.

I'm graduating December of this year & the wedding is next January.

So we'll both be finishing school, trying to find jobs, finding a place to live, finishing planning the wedding, AND I'll be applying for grad school!

I'm just trying to get as much done ahead of time as possible!
  • It's hard. I just finished my bachelors and am applying for jobs and grad school, and we're getting married in April. My advice is to ask for help. If Fi is willing to help with anything, take him up on it. Mums and friends can also be invaluable.

We tried to focus on wedding planning while I was on breaks (Spring, the few weeks I had off during the summer, and winter) and for the most part put everything else on hold while classes were actually going on.

One thing I always kept in mind - the wedding was one day, while my education was for the rest of my (our) lives, and school definitely had to come first. I also used wedding-planning stuff as a chance to unwind and if I wasn't having a crazy busy week would take an hour or two, kick back with a beer, and do what I could during the evening.

Don't make yourself crazy over it - just prioritize and it'll all work out! Tongue out HTH!
