engagement photo session questions

Good morning girls!FI and I are scheduling our engagement photo session today.  For those of you who got engagement pics taken, any advice?  Are there certain colors we should wear or not wear?  Should we wear the same color?  What about jewelry?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  TIA!

    I would definitely wear something with a pop of color....it always looks fabulous on camera!

    I wouldn't wear anything with too much of a pattern.  That goes for both of you.  Try scrolling through peoples Bios to get some ideas for shots you want/don't want.  That will be really helpful.

    I would avoid white...it tends to wash everyone out in photos, especially if you both wear it. Unless you have darker skin or a really good tan. We didn't plan very well during ours, and one of the days we weren't expecting to do any e-pics...so we didn't coordinate and we didn't look very put-together. But the pics still turned out really nice. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just wear something you feel really good in and have fun. The only thing I would avoid is clashing colors/patterns.
