Flowers

flower girl

My flower girl will be 15 months. Is there any point in ordering flowers for her? Has anybody had a flowergirl this young? Did she walk? Was she carried? Any ideas.

I don't think there is any point in ordering flowers for her.  Most people are going advise that you do not have a flower girl that young.  As for her walking the question really is will she be able to walk?  At 15 months it's still not a reliable skill, especially on cue, in front of people, from a specific point to a specific point.

We had a 15 month old ringbearer & understood (& were ok with) the fact he may not walk.

It ended up his dad was at the "altar" area & whispered to his son; the 15 month old ran to his dad waving the ring pillow with a big grin on his face; it was priceless.

Unpredictable at that age, yes, but I'd say if you are including her, getting her a dress, etc., at that age maybe go for a small, inexpensive pomander/"kissing ball" made so she can just carry it/hold onto it. One of our FGs had one; it looked very sweet!

Thanks, I'd never heard of a pomander before.

Maybe a floral garland, or a flower on a headband?  But silk flowers might be better for a little one, in case there are allergy issues.

Yes, and silk would be moredurable if it gets "banged around!" Check etsy, something like this?:

IMO, 15 months is way too young for a flower girl - she is still really a baby! And, no I would not give her anything to hold/carry as it will more than likely go straight into her mouth, or be torn apart quickly.
