Rain boots

Do you like rain boots? I think I want to get a pair of these with fleece liners for this winter. I have to walk about 3 city blocks from my car to my office every day and in the winter I walk through a lot of slush, rain, and snow.[url]http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs221.snc1/6834_143081665988_136786665988_3057779_1030177_n.jpg[/url]Do you just tuck your pants into them or what?

Yes, tuck the pants in although I see them worn much more often with skirts/tights.M has about a dozen pair. Started on them a few years back before they were even a style. In Boston, you have to be practical

I just got these a couple weeks ago (of course it hasn't rained since I bought them because the universe is conspiring against me) but I've worn them three times (because it looked like it might maybe rain) and I got tons of compliments. [url]http://www.dsw.com/dsw_shoes/catalog/product.jsp?index=20&category=dsw10cat70019&prodId=195527&brand=[/url] I LOVE THEM. They're ridiculously comfortable and warm and they keep my feet dry. The giraffe ones are snug around the calf, so I don't think I could tuck loose pants into them... skinny jeans yes, dress slacks no. I'm already on the prowl for another pair, not to replace the ones I have but so I can wear them more often.

I love them! I love rain boots, and I have several pairs. I always tuck my pants into them. I just bought these for my younger daughter's Coraline Halloween costume yesterday:

Those are cute. My calves are too huge for high boots though, I'm jealous!In the winter I love Tretorn boots. I have two pairs. They're so warm and dry I wear them with everything, and they're low enough they fit my legs.

When I move back to Boston, I'm tossing the Burberry rain coat and leather boots. Oil skin slicker and rain boots for me!Why toss money away?

I got some really cute boots like those at Target of all places. Also check out Urban Outfitters' website if you want to spend a little more for a cute style.

Thanks NQB, I was looking at Target and thinking that's probably where I'll get mine from. I love the ones in the pic I posted, but my coat is charcoal and black and I don't think any of those will really go well with it so I'll probably look more at Target.com.
