Sandals Vs. Couples

Hey everyone I'm having trouble finding a honeymoon! I've looked at the Sandals website and didn't know which resort was the best, they are currently having the 65% off deal. I also looked at the Couples Resorts and liked them also. I was wondering if you ladies had a preference of either one of these or if you know of any better resorts? Thank you for your feedback!

    They always have a 65% off deal. I choice couples tower Isle and will be there in 12 days!!! I have never been before so I can't give you and information sorry.

    we decided on Sandals...they are on lots of islands, not just Jamaica.

    We have stayed at both and i really prefer Couples over Sandals.....and that 65% off is just a sales tatic!

    I booked sandals but I think couples has a better deal. Our budget was pretty tight so we couldnt afford couples... however it was only like 500 more I think. Anyway a lot of other things are included at couples like excusions to duns falls and I think all rooms have mini bars which is a pricey upgrade. However, Sandals Ocho Rios looks nice. I dont think it is as modern as couples because I believe Couples are renovating their resorts. So its really up to what you can afford and where you want to go!

    Just booked Couples Tower Isle. Haven't been there yet but I do know that they have way more included than Sandals Resorts in general. As pps mentioned, they offer more excursions and more activities that are included in your total trip cost. HTH and GL!

    Thanks ladies! All of your information was really helpful! I think we are definitely going to go with Couples over Sandals because you get wayyy more for your money it seems. Now we just need to decide which resort! My fiance thought the Tower Isle looked nice but I've heard so many great reviews about Negril?

    We went to Couples Swept Away in Negril this past July and loved it!  I have never stayed at a Sandals so I can't compare the two.  The room we stayed in was not fancy but we did not spend a lot of time in the room...No TV, No big tub & no mini bar.  However we picked a room that was in our budget and felt like the room had a great "Jamaica" vibe.  I would recommended Couples Swept Away to anyone.  The drinks and food were great.  The staff was awsome and the beach was beautiful.  HTH.

    I stayed at Sandals - review is in bio.  Mini bars at Sandals are sooo not worth it.....

    we stayed at couples negril and LOVED it. so. so so much was included, including excursions, and scuba diving. havent been to sandals, but would def go back to couples.

    I posted the same exact question a few weeks ago. After much research and reading posts, we booked Couples Swept Away. Someone recommended Nancy Finn as our travel agent, and she has been FABULOUS!!! She ended up getting us a better deal than we could have gotten on our own (and she's free to use). I highly recommend her.

    I would say Couples Swept Away over Couples Negril.  It's in a much better location in Negril!Though personally I'm over the whole AI thing.  When we go to Negril next time we're staying at Country Country.  AIs are overpriced and restrict you to the resort more.  Negril is awesome place and fun to explore!  I recommend just going with whatever is cheapest so you can leave and have some real fun.  =)
