  lol poor baby. I know you must be screaming to the top of your lungs at this one. Luckily FI is listening to me and not doing anything against the grain. I sent him to the tuxedo shop alone but when I went behind him to see what he chose, I was pleasantly surprised. But I like the concept you selected for him to wear. Why is he so against that color? Men are wearing that color very nice these days.

  I love that suit! I tried to get FI to wear that suit. Not sure about the gray! What color are you wearing? Maybe he could match you! I wore Light gold and FI wore a Light gold vest.

  LMAO!! I told my FI and he just laughed. He said to tell your FI lighten up about the pink, it's cool to wear it now. That is too funny, maybe he thought by picking gray, you would change your mind about the pink.The only issue I had so far is the custom forces my FI wants to wear at the reception.Round 2...better luck next time, or just go with him to pick out the tie and vest. The tux is sharp.

  FI keeps telling me he's gonna wear the bright orange tux from dumb and dumber, lol.  I told him to go right ahead because everyone will no I had no hand in it and the only one who's gonna be embarrassed is him.

  That's the tux my FI is wearing but in white with red accent so he can match my dress. It'll look nice since my colors are red, chocolate, and champagne.Tell FI that's not going to work and give him two options you wouldn't mind. I had to do that with mine b/c his old school but wanted to wear the duck tail tux and I was not having it especially with his big butt.

  Thanks for the support ladies.  Fortunately, he's very easy going and just wants me to be happy so, in the final analysis, he'll probably wear anything that I want him to wear.  I just thought it was totally ridiculous for him to even approach the idea of a gray vest and tie.  Someone commented that maybe he's trying to get me to change the colors.  No, he just remarked that he's not flashy and wanted something toned down.  Guess I'll have to help him find a real nice black vest and tie ...maybe one of those textured vests.  Do you have any ideas for colors other than black for his tie and vest?  Again, our colors are light pink, chocolate brown and cream.  The brown is not really going to be that present at the ceremony so I don't think that his black tux will clash - plus, I don't care that much for brown tuxedos.  He's dark brown so the chocolate brown tuxedo will just blend in and, I don't think that it will complement him much. So we are sticking with a black.  Any ideas on the tie and vest?Option option is to see if I can get him to do a pink square if we go with a regular tuxedo that has a pocket up top. Someone asked what color my gown is - it's all white lace  (Demetrios  - Ilissa line, style 900) - http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresses/gallery/wedding_dresses/vendor/designer/demetriosilissa/detail/118356?f=92%3a98&offset=6so no chance of him matching me there.BMs are wearing light pink chiffon dresses.  Wedding outside in late June.

  Honey that sounds like my FI! After he got registered with the tux he wanted them to wear(which I didn't like), a month later he had no clue as to what he finally decided on. I was like WTF?!?!  I called to check on it and he was way off, plus he had the guys wearing silver vest with a red tie??????????   He must have been drinking when he told that guy to put that in the computer! I've come to the conclusion that i'm going to have to take the task back, since he seems to be very nonchalant about it. They will find out what they are wearing when they get fitted! LOL

  OMG YES!  My FI said that he wanted all of the guys to just wear their own black suits from home.  I was like...WHAT?!  They'll be strolling down the aisle in three different looking suits (we have 3 GM).  Is he crazy!  His friends all laughed at him when he said it.  Thank goodness.  Otherwise he would have went with that tomfoolery.

  At first he was going to rent a tux - then after talking about the cost, my husband decied to buy a nice black suit - with the suit he wore a white shirt, cream vest and cream pasiely tie - I love pasiely!! When he 1st started looking for a shirt he wanted to buy a CREAM shirt!! lol He thougt it looked better then a white one, boy did I have to break it down for him - lol Can you have him wear a cream, or brown vest instead - there's no way my husband would wear pink - but he said he'd wear a pasiely purple tie, go fugure ?!?
