I have purchased fireworks for our big exit...Did you use fireworks? Or are you planning to?Did you group the fireworks or just hand them out?Thanks

I am doing sparklers! I am going to have them in a basket (prob with the plant foam). Then we'll have tiki torches to light them and buckets of water to put them in after.

I was nervous about you handing out a bunch of fireworks...lol. I'm glad you were talking sparklers!! and...yah no idea on how to get them lit..sorry

How are you handing out the sparklers? (i.e. at each place setting, a basket by a door) You could always get some printed match books to keep near the sparklers if you're doing a basket distribution.

You could simply get ribbon and tie a matchbook to each one or bunch.

i did sparklers too

it was awesome... although i felt like my dress was catching on fire during the exit, i kept feeling all the sparks! i had the sparklers in 2 vases by the exit that said "let sparks fly for the bride and groom - sparkler exit at midnight" & also got some matches made with our name & date (super cheap on TK) and put on the table as well.i the band make and announcement & had my wedding planner make sure that everyone knew it was happening & made sure everyone was ready for it.good luck!

We're doing sparklers for our exit from the church to the limo and having them in basket at the door and having buckets of sand to put them out in. As for the lighting, I haven't figured that out yet- but I'm thinking of equipping the GMs with those long hand lighters so that there aren't used matches all over the steps of the cathedral ;0)
