Wedding Woes

Okaaaay..question, apt. peeps.

The people who moved in next door (we haven't been introduced--I haven't even seen them) have now started fighting. Loudly. With door-slamming and everything. For the last few days. The walls are thin enough that the slamming is jarring, but not thin enough to make anything out, save from the more than occasional profanity.Thankfully, this hasn't happened at night (yet), but it's still annoying as schit and, frankly, kinda scary for my sheltered self.At what point do we...a) Slip a note under the door saying, "There are more than 4 men/women in the world, so STFU and let us happy people get our swerve on in peace,"b) Call management,C) Other/molotov cocktail?

Ugh. Sorry. The only thing I have remotely like this is when the pot heads below us blast their music and/or TV and I have to bang on the radiator for hours on end. I would bang on the wall a bit. If that doesn't work, I'd go over and ask them to kindly STFU. That is, once you've established they're not going to kill you.

Ha. We had the same problem at our old apt. Except it always seemed to involve prostitutes/drugs/police, or all of the above. I'm not much help, but I feel your pain.

we call management, but we don't know who is doing it.  otherwise, you know i would be knocking on doors and telling them to "please" stop.

    B. Never, ever try to handle the situation yourself.  Mgmt would rather the tenant be pissed with them than pissed at you!

We've never met them but we know it's directly next door---our bedroom shares a wall with them, joy of joys.Evan says that we shouldn't give them a reason to have to come over here (guess he's just as freaked about it).I guess I'll give it 'til the end of the week. If it happens at night or continues throughout the day, I'll call management.

Call management and 'anonymously' (sp?) report a noise violation. Let management manage them. You don't need to knock on doors and then let someone have a chance to yell at you. It is not your job to tell them what to do, it's managments. Use them, that is what you pay them to do. Do this ASAP so neighbors know that this behavior will not be tolerated. You don't live in the ghetto, yo.

I think that was my problem. We did live in the ghetto. I'd like to take a moment to thank sweet baby Jesus that we managed to buy a house (thats not attached to anyone else's residence- we lived in a townhouse before too)
