It slipped?

So you know those moments when someone says/does something and you have a mean thought but don't intend to say it out loud? Well I had one of those...but I said it out loud. I actually told a guy to "Fucck off my PBJ." He's a friend of my co-worker that came by to chit chat with her for a few minutes during lunch. I was eating a PBJ sandwich and for whatever reason he made some doofy comment about me being 6 years old and I dropped an F bomb on him. I don't even know him. I don't really know how I let that come out of my mouth to a stranger. At least he was cool about it and laughed, right? Then again, if someone told me to F off their PBJ, I would laugh too.

  • I've been having several of those moments today. I'm attributing it to some sort of celestial/planetary alignment.

  • That's actually one of my biggest fears: that I will swear at someone without meaning to. At least it sounds like this all got laughed off. Nobody puts PB&J in a corner.
  • Pfft, I always have those moments.  I like to think of it as training for my future as Grandma Nugget the Second.

  • I do that alot- However my worst F bomb was more like a raid.   It was at my FI's work Christmas Party.  I had too many Martinis.  Dropped my roll in my drink. All while continuing to school his co-worker on the reasons I dont want children.  With F* between almost every word.

  • That's what he said...

  • My goal on teaching placement is not to say F**k in front of the children. I swear I say it so often it has lost all meaning.
  • One of my college roomies who I don't talk to anymore found out where I worked and came to my store one day. I had been awake since 4am, at work since 5am, and it was now 2pm. He asked me what I'd been up to since he hadn't heard from me for a while. Apparently my response was "Working, sleeping, avoiding old roommates I don't want to see"...oops..I was so tired I thought I had said it in my head but noooooo it came out.The kicker...he dropped in a few days later to see if I wanted to go to the movies with him...sigh...
