    I hope he is legitmately doing it for his children's best interest, and not because he is hoping to win the media's favor after all the things he's done in the past.

    I agree that it's the right thing to do but he's probably only doing it now that he got dropped. He's jealous of Kate.

    I do wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that TLC was trying to drop him from the show.  But in the end I really do think it's better for the kids to not have the show continue.

    I think he was getting jaded with the show long before any of the media attention started. Even though he can be a douchebag sometimes, I still think he loves his kids.
