Asuanta, how far in advance are you getting them done? I've never had them before and I want to make sure I don't get them done too early. Thanks!

Shaunta A. They can range anywhere from $35-60 depending on the salon. Go to the website I mentioned in the previous post and find a salon in your area that does them. Then call afew to compare prices. AndreTiff... I am getting mine done the day of. They can last about 2 weeks. I got the gold ones done the day before the bridal shower and they were fine. So I would say you can get them done atleast a day before your wedding. Here is a picture of the gold ones. I was holding one of my many diy projects lol.. Hmm, sounds interesting. What are these exactly? Something similar to press on nails?

I've been thinking of getting them. It's haven't found many placs to do them yet. They are pricy but they are also gorgeous.

these are a great option when you don't want to get a full set of nails done... asuanta - will the nail tech provide a full manicure to your hands before applying the minx nail coating so that your hands look really fresh and fab??...girl you know how we are, you gotta give all the deets so us slow ones understand the entire process before we go investigating locally...LOL!  ;)

OK so here's the deal with the MINX. You receive a manicure then they apply the minx. The Minx is a layer of film that adheres to the nail went heat is applied (it's a lamp that stays over top of the nail that makes the film "melt" to the nail) Then the cut and shape the remaining film. It last about 2 weeks but the more water(mainly hot) and lotion you use will effect the lifetime. Mine was on for 2 weeks and I was able to just peel it off, which they say you shouldn't do.

The first time I heard of minx nails was on the real housewives of atlanta.  I'm not sure it will work for me.  I wash my hands a lot and I am constantly putting lotion on my hands.  I'll probably just do a regular french manicure, but the minx look very nice.
