Hi!
My name is Jenn and my fiance Aaron proposed to me Friday (12/21/12) at the gorgeous Eolia mansion at Harkness State Park in Westport, CT. I am thrilled but a little bit overwhelmed.
This is the 2nd marriage for us both (we're both 38) but it's his first wedding and he wants an actual wedding. My first wedding was back in 1996 and my controlling mother planned everything, right down to my dress. I was young and 1300 miles away so I let her take control. This time I want to plan a wedding that suits my fiance and I.
We don't have a date yet. I'm currently an unemployed grad student and he's a computer tech so we want to have gainful employment before officially planning anything. Right now, I'm just trying to get my bearings and figure out what I want and like.
