Some of my techno-phobe relatives have been asking for travel info for the wedding. I created a website but they aren't computer savvy. So, I started to create a brochure to mail out to whomever wants one. Have any of you made something like this? If so, would you mind sharing it w/ me? My email is jen dot lopes at gmail dot com.     I sent out the STD's with our website info back in August. I don;t think half of the guests have even looked at the site. I planned to send a brochure out but since we sent out really nice STD magnets I decided to write a letter and include travel /our agent info in the packet. I got nice stationary from Staples with a beach background. I did this because I know not all of my family is computer savvy and they would like to see something written on paper.

    I created a website as well and don't think even 2/3 of the people bothered to read it. I had to send out email & Facebook blasts with info or send it individually as people asked. Other non computer savvy people just called and I talked them through it over the phone. No matter what we do I think people will still need to be walked through it.

    Ditto PP.  No matter what you will have to hold their hand, at least I did!  I wouldn't bother with the extra mailing.  Maybe just get your invitations out soon.

    Good Luck! I've been sending out the details for over a year now, and today someone asked me a super silly question (do I have to go on the cruise, or can I just attend the wedding?). All they have to do is make ONE phone call, and many of my guests don't even want to do that. The website is up to date, I've sent paper and email copies of everything, and it's like pulling teeth. I try to keep in mind that while this is one of the most important days in my life, it's not in theirs. I'm putting together a list like brochure and am sending it out to everyone to review. I'm keeping it very simple though.=) I like to get wordy and funny and I think that will only add to my stress. Good luck! Allison
